One week for women which offers time and space to immerse into the practice of Hormone-Yoga - a dynamic and energetic set of exercises which were developed by Brazilian psychologist and yoga-therapist Dinah Rodrigues.
With specific pranayamas and Tibetan energy techniques Hormone-Yoga works mainly with individual pranic energy, activating it and sending it to several parts of the body.
The techniques of Hormone-Yoga stimulate the female endocrine glands, optimize hormonal balance, bring a juvenescent, energizing and overall balancing effect to the human body. These exercises, which are of holistic nature and address the entire energy system, have shown gains in vitality, emotional balance and improvements in body perception. Pre-menopausal and menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings and migraine can be dampened through the regenerative powers of the human body.
Hormone-Yoga aims to strengthen this natural regenerative ability. These exercises can help women in a natural manner to get through this period of significant physical and emotional changes. Older women, women with PMS or women who cannot get pregnant due to hormonal reasons can also benefit from the exercises.
Maike Strunk has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years and has accompanied people in group and individualized lessons on their yoga-path since 2000. Maike instructs with particular attention to the importance of the body's own boundaries. She creates a protective ambience where trustful interaction meets attentive care.
Maike Strunk was trained at the Association of Humanistic Education in Düsseldorf , Germany which stands in the tradition of the Kaivalyadhama-Institute in Lonavla , India .
Her path into yoga was significantly influenced by their teachings. She was personally trained by Dinah Rodrigues and became a certified teacher for Hormone-Yoga in 2004. Since then she has taught authentic Hormone-Yoga according to Dinah Rodrigues in workshops and individualized one-on-one lessons.
She continually advances her education and is in regular attendance with the Hormone-Yoga-workshop.
Yoga Holiday Itinerary:

There will be two classes everyday each between 1 ½ and 2 hours long; exceptions are the day of arrival and the evening of departure.
Classes will generally be more dynamic in the morning ( 8 am ) and will have a greater emphasis on breathing and relaxation in the early evening ( 5 pm ).
There are many possibilities during the day to enjoy the beautiful nature or to seek relaxation through one of the massage or beauty applications that are offered by the hotel. Other activities such as visiting local markets, going to hammams, hiking, etc., can be organized individually or in a group.
